Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment that focuses on eliminating restrictions to enable the physiological motion of all the bones of the skull, including the face and the mouth, as well as the vertebral column, sacrum, coccyx (tail bone) and pelvis. By gently manipulating the skull bones at the sutures (those fibrous joints that hold bones together in the skull), craniosacral therapists seek to realign the bones so that they move in sync with one another, allowing the cerebrospinal fluid to circulate freely (cushions and bathes the brain and spinal cord, bringing nutrients and flushing away wastes). CST may provide some relief of such symptoms as: TMJ dysfunction, ringing in the ears, brain/spinal cord dysfunction, headaches, depression and any number of chronic aches and pains throughout your body.

The therapists’ movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and specifically located on areas of tension and pain, the goal being to realign the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Extremely effective for relieving chronic conditions (such as stiff necks, sore shoulders, and low back tightness) by physically breaking down bands of rigid tissue (called adhesions) to relieve pain, stiffness and restore movement.
Athletes who suffer from tight muscles, decreased flexibility and pain throughout their body will benefit greatly from this type of massage.

All waves of energy generated from the sun are classified as the electromagnetic spectrum. Within this spectrum exist Far Infrared waves that generate a long spectrum of microns anywhere from 5.6 microns to 1000 microns. The length of microns that the human body allows to penetrate is 9.4, which causes cellular vibration and detoxification. The heaters in the sauna emit the vital wave range of 7 to 14 microns, with the wave averaging 9.4 microns. The human body is made up of 70% water; the frequency that water molecules need to vibrate is relatively the same, 9.4 microns. The vibration of the water molecules is what aids the body in its detoxification process.
Far Infrared waves heat the body by penetrating into the skin about 2 inches, exciting the molecules causing them to bounce together creating heat. Conventional hot air saunas heat the air inside the unit at high temperatures, whereas an Infrared sauna emits Far Infrared rays at lower temperatures allowing the internal body temperature to heat up, not just the outside skin in response to the hot air. This allows the body to detox to a greater extent in a shorter amount of time.
The Infrared Sauna can remove body toxins, help circulation, decrease stress, improve heart health, assist in weight loss, ease aches and pains, and speed up the recovery process of minor injuries.
Add a 1/2hr session to a massage $10. Stand-alone session $20. Package of 5 $100.
